He was born in Budapest. In his childhood he started to play the piano in the famous Kodály Institute.

After secondary school he got a Master’s degree and the title „dr.” at the Faculty of Law of the Szeged University. In this period he also learned singing and started his opera carrier.

At first he sang minor opera roles, and operetta bonvivan roles:
